Birthday Tree

It was 16 years ago, 28th August 1994, my family and I went for swimming in a clubhouse in K.L. just about to leave, we saw lots of beautiful red seeds dropped from a tree, we were so excited and picked up some, about 20 of them.

While reaching home, without realising, just left them near the flower pot, 3 days later, it was a holiday,about 10 AM, just for fun I dug out some holes and planted all those seeds into the ground......

TODAY, 31st August 2010, are those Palm trees 16 years old  Birthday,    Named "  MERDEKA"
